Since we moved into our cozy one bedroom one bathroom house we have realized a few things... one, that houses built before the first world war are much colder than houses built after... and two that we are terrible interior decorators.
After two separate failed trips to Ikea we kind of gave up there for awhile, which is why it is nice to have family... because they give you stuff.
Last week we received a package from Jenne's mom in Pennsylvania and its contents were exactly what our drafty little house needed.
As you can see Jenne was ecstatic to have something decorating the house other than my softball trophy. I don't know if you can tell from the picture but the blanket is very festive... perfect for Halloween at the Anderson house.
Perhaps the only other thing we have up in our house is a picture that Jenne's sister Kendra made us. For those that saw our engagement picture this a perfect replica of that photo. I wish I knew more about art to tell you what the exact type of painting this is but for now you will just have to take my advice that it is an amazing picture. Hopefully next time we see Kendra she still has both of her ears...(Van Gogh reference... too soon?).
Anyway, thanks to the Gampe family for making our house look less barren!
